Material warranties.

All products sold by Franchini Blades Srl are covered by the manufacturer’s conventional warranty and by the 24-month warranty for defects of conformity, according to Legislative Decree no. 206 of 2005. In order to benefit from the assistance under warranty, the Customer must keep the invoice (or the delivery note) that he/she will receive by e-mail in electronic PDF format. The exercise of the Warranty may include the request for assistance to authorized service centres in the territory. 

The manufacturer’s conventional warranty is provided as follows

If, after intervention by an Authorized Service Centre, the defect is not covered by the manufacturer’s conventional warranty, the Customer will be charged for any costs of verification and restoration required by the Authorized Service, as well as transportation costs, if incurred by Franchini Blades Srl. 

The 24-month warranty pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 206 of 2005 applies to products that present a defect of conformity, provided that the product itself is used correctly, in accordance with its intended use. Such warranty is reserved for the private Consumer (a person who purchases goods for purposes not related to his/her professional activity, or making a purchase without indicating in the order form a reference to VAT code). In case of defect of conformity, Franchini Blades Srl provides, without cost to the Customer, the restoration of conformity of the product by repair / replacement or reduction of the price, up to the termination of the agreement. If, after intervention by an Authorized Service Centre, the defect is not a defect of conformity within the meaning of Legislative Decree no. 206 of 2005, the Customer will be charged for any costs of verification and restoration required by the Authorized Service, as well as transportation costs, if incurred by Franchini Blades Srl. Replacements in the event of DOA (Dead On Arrival: product not working on delivery) will be made only if expressly provided by the manufacturer. The timing of replacement or repair of the product depends exclusively on the policies of the manufacturer. In the event that, for whatever reason, it is unable to return to its customers a product under warranty (restored or replaced), Franchini Blades Srl may proceed at its discretion to refund the amount paid taking into account the use of the good or to replace the good with a product of equal or superior characteristics. The timing of repair or replacement of the product depends exclusively on the policies of the manufacturer and no claim for damage may be raised against Franchini Blades Srl for any delays in repairs or replacements. In all cases of return and even in cases where the application of warranties provides for the return of the product, the goods must be returned by the Customer in its original packaging, complete in all its parts (including packaging and any documentation and accessory equipment), to limit damage to the original package, we recommend to put it in a second box, it should be avoided in all cases the attachment of labels or tape directly on the original packaging of the product.

Customer’s Obligations.
The customer undertakes to keep both the authentication code and the password with extreme diligence, being well aware that the use of UserID and password by third parties would bind only the customer, since the supplier would have to charge only the same customer with the orders executed with such keys. Any changes to the personal data provided by the customer at registration must be communicated in writing to the supplier. The customer is also required to provide an e-mail address for the need to be informed of the confirmation of orders, and for any communication from the supplier relating to the scope of electronic commerce carried out by the same.

Form of Communications.
Although the customer prefers the electronic channel, he/she accepts on a case-by-case basis that communications relating to order confirmations and other communications may also be made by other means indicated by the same customer, while acknowledging their full validity.
